S1 E0 Concept Pilot

Our story begins as the ReelNewz Team begin to adjust to their new found success: their websites have provided commercial success and they can “almost” quit their day jobs. The newly afforded office space  (reelnewz studios) creates the opportunity to take the festival thing to the next level.

As things evolves, they realize their story is worth telling. So they decide to write a television pilot. What happen along the way is…. something completely different..

Ghostbusters afterlife may go down as Jason reitman’s greatest directorial work. Yes I know he has had Oscar nominations for other films but to wade through the fan base of the Ghostbusters franchise alone and put out such a connective work is truly astounding. The introduction of the Spengler grandchildren connects in a brilliant way to the original Ghostbusters.
